| I've organized and run two of these fly-in SZ dyno weekends: The way I structure it is with a deposit that covers airfare, hotel, meals and dyno shop rental for the days in question, which usually works out to 2 hours of dyno time per person. I cap the number of cars to 5 per day, I may reduce that to 4 per day for the next event. This deposit is due approximately a month before the event, and is non-refundable after that point. I total that amount, divide by the number of paid participants and adjust accordingly when the dyno weekend rolls around. The actual tuning fee is paid to Greg & Seb in cash on the day, depending on the number of tunes performed. All of this is arranged weeks in advance, paid for weeks in advance, with room in case one or two people show up on the weekend. Our dyno events worked out to $ 750.00/person last year and $ 800.00 this year for deposits + 1 tune. Those who spent more time on the dyno had to pay a bit more, I collected afterwards to offset extra time. The key is to get firm commitments, establish a cutoff date for deposits and a no-refund policy, if you have to back out after the cutoff date, you have to get someone else to take your place or forfeit. It has worked well for the last two years this way.
